1972
Our First Steps
In a small printing press on Koumoundourou Square, educators Theodoros and Olga Vgontzas, driven by their passion for education and proper teaching of the Greek language, initiated an ambitious project: to publish books they themselves wrote for Elementary school children. Since then, many things have changed, yet some remained the same!1972

The first children's magazine in Greece
Created the first magazine for children in Greece that was available at newsstands.1976

Printing for Business
Our company entered Commercial Printing sector.1981

Our company entered Commercial Printing sector.
The year that we took our first steps towards transforming LYCHNIA into a printing unit.1986
1995
Entering the Prepress Business
Strengthening our presence in the prepress business with equipment and specialization in the production of prepress proofs.1995
2000
In 4 Colors
In a stage of upward trajectory, we acquired our first modern 4-color offset printing press and saddle stitching binding equipment.2000
2006
New Production Facilities
Acquisition of a permanent residence in new production facilities of 5,000 square meters in Chamomilo, Acharnes, and established a specialized binding unit.2006
2009
10 Colors at once!
Investment in one of the few 10-color offset presses with Image Control available in the Greek market, capable of printing 10 colors in a single pass!2009

Our Expansion "In a box"!
Expansion of our operations into the design and production of luxury paper packaging.2012

Expanding into Custom Promotional Displays
Our new venture included the design and construction of floor and counter stands for product display.2016

Printing "at a Large"!
Acquisition of a modern Large Format Digital Printing unit and becoming part of the sustainable forest management chain by offering FSC-certified products.2017

Luxury Packaging
Investing in the luxury packaging sector and acquiring equipment for the production of rigid boxes with the unique Sharp Edges technique.2020
